Hi, my name is Sandra Wilson.  I have many roles in my life such as teacher, mother, cyclist, hairstylist and modeling.  I started modeling when I was just 17 years old.  Most of my work was runway.  However, my career was short lived due to the fact that I was married and would have my first and second child by the time I was 20 years old.  I put my dreams on hold until after my children were on their own.  However, I was now looking at 40 and wondering what could I bring to the industry?  I had just moved to Richmond, Virginia and began my journey in modeling.  I have a theater major and thought that I might get back on stage, but found myself in front of the camera instead.  I was inspired by the freedom to express myself in fashion, character, and the different concepts I could create through photography and modeling.  I was also welcomed into the modeling world and photography circles which surprised me due to my age.  I actually think that it helped me because it inspired many to see a mature woman determined to make a place for herself in a young/perfect body industry.  I was quickly published in several magazines that wanted me to tell my story:  Activeover50.com, Livingbetterat50.com, as well as being published in: Two issues of Vedere Magazine, and two issues of Drive In Magazine.  Besides these publishings, I have been featured in two local commercials for Kroger and a Reality Firm here in Richmond.  I have also been signed with three local talent and modeling agencies.  If you would have told me that all of this could be possible for a model in her mid-forties, I would have laughed.  But, life is a journey until the day I stop breathing, so I will keep pursuing my dreams!

PINUP: this is a new genre for me and I have loved it!  I won second place in my first competition at the Karb King Car Show, and was published in the Valentine edition of Drive In Magazine and this month's edition as well featuring Dames and Cars.

I now am the owner of Dames, Planes, and Automobiles Magazine which is a classic vintage magazine that takes pride in publishing only classic style photography.  We want to be able to share this art with the whole family, thus we do not publish lingerie, or nudity.  We take pride in sharing and educating individuals about the time period.  The magazine always includes war planes, classic cars, pinup contest sponsored by DPA, and beautiful classic dames.  We also support veteran and military groups that help our service men and women.  You will find heart felt features in every issue. ( MUAH for all photos done by Sandra Wilson herself).
